Job Description
AACE has a number of excellent opportunities for qualified and experienced senior maritime engineers to join our safety team. Applicants will ideally have worked in the military or supporting defence organisations and had exposure to providing maritime safety support under DSA
02-DMR.
You will be working within an experienced team of subject matter experts (SMEs) providing safety advice, guidance and leadership in a range of surface and sub-surface projects and programmes. You will need to be conversant with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) as well as possess excellent written and oral English skills.
Tasks may include development of hazard logs, assessment of functional safety, development of safety case reports, and the provision of specialist safety advice, guidance and leadership. Role characteristics include the desire to meet or exceed client requirements with high-quality support and outputs, and a pro-active, flexible, and constructive approach.

Reliability Workbench, ASCE, Bow Tie, Event Tree Analysis (ETA) or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Ship Safety Management Office (SSMO)
- Safety and Environmental Management Training (SEMT)
- Marine Engineering Management Training (MEMT)
- ISO 9001 Quality Management
- International Safety Management (ISM) Code Auditor
