In this role, you will act as a key interface between the project team, contractors, landowners, and agents, ensuring smooth land access, proactive engagement, and the effective management of on-the-ground agricultural considerations throughout major infrastructure schemes.
Our client offers a competitive salary and an excellent flexible benefits package, with options such as additional annual leave purchase, health cash plans, cycle-to-work schemes, and a range of other lifestyle benefits. Flexible or agile working arrangements can also be discussed at the application stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with landowners to secure and manage land access.
- Advise the client on practical agricultural and land-related matters affecting project delivery.
- Ensure contractors adhere to commitments made to landowners.
- Manage and resolve landowner concerns or complaints.
- Arrange and coordinate site visits, meetings, and records of condition.
- Support compensation claim settlements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stakeholder records.
- Work within defined programme timelines to support efficient project delivery.
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs, with an understanding of how infrastructure schemes affect farming and land use.
- Ideally, experience in soil management, drainage plans, and records of condition.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Ambition and initiative, with a team-oriented approach.
- Confidence managing relationships with landowners, contractors, and internal teams.
- A full UK driving licence, as regular travel is required.
