Are you a Senior Traffic Engineer with strong report-writing and client-facing experience, looking to join a growing consultancy where you can take ownership of projects and play a key role in the expansion of a successful regional office?

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join a well-established civil and transport engineering consultancy, strengthening their Birmingham transport team during an exciting phase of growth.

On offer is the chance to lead and deliver planning-led transport work, taking responsibility for Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans while working closely with clients, local authorities, and internal teams. You'll join a collaborative business where good work is recognised and progression is based on ability and performance.

The consultancy delivers integrated civil and transport engineering services across residential developments, schools, and sustainable urban extensions. With ambitious plans growth plans within the next 5 years, they are investing in senior-level capability to help drive this.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Traffic Engineer who enjoys being hands-on, client-facing, and influential in shaping both projects and the future of a growing office.

The Role:
Writing, reviewing, and managing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
Producing transport feasibility studies (training provided where required)
Chairing and attending client meetings and consultations
Supporting planning submissions with high-quality technical reporting
Occasional site visits and in-person meetings

The Person:
Experience in traffic or transport engineering
Strong background in report writing for planning-led transport projects
Hands-on mindset with a desire to remain technically involved
Full UK driving license and access to a car
Right to work in the UK
