They are now looking to appoint a talented Energy Modeller to support their expanding project portfolio and contribute to the development of high-performance, future-ready buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a forward-thinking environment and wants to make a tangible impact on net-zero delivery.

Essential Criteria
  • Strong, demonstrable experience using IES VE for energy, loads and compliance modelling.

  • Proven background in conducting overheating assessments in line with TM52/TM59.

  • Hands-on experience with net-zero technologies, including heat pumps, MVHR, solar PV, high-performance building fabrics and smart energy systems.

  • Ability to turn technical modelling outputs into clear, concise reports for design and client teams.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Desirable Criteria
  • Experience with Part L / EPC modelling and regulatory submissions.

  • Broader dynamic thermal modelling capabilities, including natural ventilation studies, climate resilience assessments and optimisation modelling.

  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, WELL or LETI.

  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python) to streamline modelling workflows.

  • Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Company Benefits
  • Competitive salary reflective of experience.

  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and chartership support.

  • Opportunity to work on innovative, sustainability-driven projects across a diverse client base.

  • Supportive, collaborative culture with clear pathways for progression.
