Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping our customer's automated systems operating at peak performance. You'll be part of a small, skilled team, providing both planned and reactive maintenance across conveyors, AMRs, and automated handling systems within a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Support site uptime and performance against KPIs.
• Work safely to H&S standards, ensuring compliance with AMH and client policies.
• Use the CMMS system to record, plan and complete maintenance tasks.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability.
• Maintain clear communication with the engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and up to date.

This is a hands‑on, technically varied role where you'll work with the latest automation technologies and gain exposure to some of the most advanced logistics engineering systems in the UK.

We're looking for an adaptable, reliable engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, continuous learning, and teamwork.

• Relevant qualification in engineering e.g., NVQ, apprenticeship, etc.
• Previous experience in maintenance engineering (electrical, mechanical, or multi‑skilled).
• Practical understanding of conveyors, motors, pneumatics, and PLC‑controlled systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and team‑working ability.
