Technical Sales Engineer Working with a leading tooling specialist our client manufacture and supply a range of industries including Automotive, Aerospace and General Engineering with precision cutting tools. This is a field / office based position covering the Midland region. Technical Sales Engineer Main Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within an agreed region. Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and presentations to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
Prepare and deliver detailed new quotations proposals Build and develop new business opportunities and customer network. Work with design and production teams to develop bespoke solutions. Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation. Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare. Requirements Familiarity with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and process optimisation. Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or motor sport manufacturing environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and strong understanding of machining strategies.
