Environmental Advisor

Location: Friston

A major main contractor delivering works under the Great Grid Upgrade is looking to appoint an Environmental Advisor on a contract basis. This role will support the environmental management of large-scale power transmission and distribution works, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, consents, and project-specific requirements across site activities.

Key responsibilities:

Advising site teams on environmental best practice and compliance Supporting implementation of CEMP and environmental management plans Monitoring site activities, audits, and reporting Liaising with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders as required

Ideal background:

Environmental experience within infrastructure, utilities, or power projects Familiar with main contractor site environments Good working knowledge of UK environmental legislation Long-term contract potential on a nationally significant programme.
