An established engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Bid Coordinator to support complex quotation activity and programme delivery within a structured, regulated environment.
The Bid Coordinator will play a central role in managing non-recurring effort (NRE) bids, coordinating inputs from engineering, operations, finance, purchasing, and quality teams, and ensuring all submissions meet governance and compliance requirements. This is a detail-driven, process-focused role suited to someone with experience supporting bids, tenders, or programmes within manufacturing.
As Bid Coordinator, you will also support programme planning activities, resource reporting, and internal gate reviews, acting as a key link between business development and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end NRE bid activity from opportunity review through submission
* Review RFQs and RFPs for compliance and documentation accuracy
* Prepare, collate, and control technical and commercial bid documentation
* Liaise cross-functionally to build accurate cost models and compliance matrices
* Support programme scheduling, milestone tracking, and monthly reporting
* Maintain bid libraries, templates, and programme documentation
* Support governance, gate reviews, and continuous improvement activity
Background & Experience
* 2–3 years’ experience in bid coordination, programme support, or project support
* Manufacturing or engineering environment experience essential
* Strong document control, organisation, and stakeholder coordination skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ERP systems (SAP or NAV desirable)
* Familiarity with programme governance and tendering processes
* Degree-qualified or equivalent experience
* APMP, WRIKE, or (url removed) exposure advantageous
