Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with Credit Control experience to work for a company based in the Brighton area. The Credit Control Assistant will be working on a hybrid basis as part of the finance team, supporting with credit control, chasing up payments on overdue invoices, processing payments, maintaining accurate billing records, etc.
Salary: up to £29K
Duration: 6‑month fixed‑term contract
Location: Hybrid working – 3 days office‑based – Brighton
Responsibilities- Chase outstanding invoices and support the credit control team
- Reconcile payments
- Handle any customer billing (invoice or payment) queries
- Send out invoices and monthly statements
- Process and update balances in the system
- Experience in a similar Finance – Accounts Assistant role, with some credit control / billing experience
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Sage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
