Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)

Salary: 50,000 - 52,000

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team in Manchester. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning support
• Analysis of financial performance and provision of clear insights to senior stakeholders
• Business partnering with operational teams to support commercial decision-making
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Support year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a management accounting role
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial systems/ERP software
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
