• Provide support to the Head of Financial Services in all aspects of the Trust's capital programme, fixed assets and leases.
• Maintain the Trust's fixed asset register and provide accurate and timely information regarding the Trust's monthly capital expenditure position.
• Contribute to the annual accounts process to ensure all reporting is in line with accounting standards and DoH guidance.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly monitoring information in respect of expenditure against the Trust's capital programme.
• Lead on accounting for leases under IFRS 16 by maintaining the Trust's register of leases and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
• Provide advice to colleagues in respect of the interpretation of IFRS
  16 regarding contracts and arrangements which may meet the definition of a lease.
• Maintain the Trust's fixed asset register and provide accurate and timely information to the Head of Financial Services and Deputy Director of Finance.
• Ensure that all fixed asset transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner including additions, disposals, depreciation, revaluations and impairments.

• Numerate with ability to deliver high-quality financial information.
• Experience in financial accounting aspects of capital programmes, fixed assets and leases (IFRS 16) is involved in the responsibilities.
