As the group continues to grow, we are strengthening our internal finance team to ensure we have excellent financial clarity, reporting and operational insight across the business.
Senior Management AccountantWe are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to take day-to-day ownership of our internal finance function. This role will handle monthly management accounts, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, VAT returns, and oversight of AP/AR processes. You will work closely with the Finance Director, senior leadership team and external accountants to ensure accuracy, clarity and financial control across the group.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys improving systems, creating structure, working with real commercial numbers and supporting operational decision-making in a fast-growing hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Full preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Clear month-end commentary and financial insight
- Manage VAT returns and ledger integrity
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany recharges, invoices and journals
- Maintain intercompany schedules for multiple entities
- Oversee AP/AR workflow and support two finance assistants
- Maintain cashflow working files and support budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile revenue, payment platforms and bank accounts
- Improve month-end processes, data clarity and internal controls
- Work with site and operations managers to support cost control, labour and margin management
- Confidence preparing monthly accounts independently
- Strong accuracy, organisation and data discipline
- Experience with intercompany or multi-entity accounting
- Able to explain financial concepts to non-finance managers
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving systems and controls
- Hospitality or multi-site experience is desirable but not essential
- Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) all considered
