Fitness Instructor – Richmond Village, Letcombe Regis, OX12 9RG
Permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) – £13.40 per hour. Flexibility to cover additional days for sickness and holiday cover when needed.

Our fitness instructors play a crucial role in promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among our residents. They design and lead engaging exercise programmes tailored to the needs and abilities of seniors, helping to improve their physical fitness, mobility, and overall well‑being.
By fostering a supportive and motivating environment, our fitness instructors enhance the quality of life for our residents, encouraging social interaction and a sense of community.
- Conduct fitness classes in the Spa, including specialist classes and 1‑2‑1 sessions for the care floor residents.
- Assist members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement during each visit.
- Ensure awareness of every member’s health status prior to each appointment and update records as necessary.
- Make sure all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise.
- Support membership retention by actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun‑filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits.
- Inform the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues at all times.
- Develop and promote organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities.
- Support the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue by promoting other services in the spa as required.
- Proven experience in instructing group fitness classes.
- Level 2 and Level 3 Fitness Instructing qualifications (minimum requirement).
- Previous experience working in spas or the fitness industry.
- Pool Responder qualification.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- High level of patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering outstanding fitness experiences.
