Domestic Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Renaissance Care as a Domestic Assistant. In this role you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued.

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to contribute to Beech Manor Care Home for bank shifts every second weekend and holiday cover during weekdays. Within this role we encourage candidates to build and develop meaningful relationships with residents and include them, where possible, in daily activities that interest them. These interactions provide great purpose for many residents and can positively impact an individual’s daily experience.

As a domestic assistant your role is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home to ensure residents’ environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming. This is inclusive of all personal rooms, en-suites, and all communal areas, including lounge, dining, and bathroom facilities.

• Experience in a similar role or sector with a good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset, with confidence to work independently when needed.
• A keen eye for detail and a respectful approach to maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
