Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. You will be supporting someone who requires help to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be.

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support while expanding social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.

We are 5 housemates who live in a small supported living house. We are looking for personal assistants who can support us individually with daily living at home and to take part in our favourite activities. Tasks include personal care, housework, shopping and activities such as socialising and swimming. We have varying health needs and require support at home and to attend appointments.

We are looking for confident, caring and reliable Personal Assistants to cover shifts on a rota basis, including early/backshift and overnight support duties, with occasional waking night shifts.

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks as required.
• Assist with moving and handling and support positive behavioural approaches where needed.
• Support individuals to participate in activities, socialise, and maintain their routines.
• Assist with housework, shopping, appointments, and attending activities outside the home.
• Work on a rota basis to cover early, backshift, overnight, and occasional waking night shifts.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing and achievement of goals.

• No prior experience in care is required;
