About the Role

We’re looking for an API & AI Product Manager to help shape and deliver Bright Local’s API and AI capabilities, enabling internal teams and external customers to access insights where they need them most.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Partners, and other Product Managers to turn platform capabilities into scalable, well‑adopted solutions. You’ll contribute to discovery, prioritisation, and delivery, and act as a go‑to person for API‑ and AI‑related questions across the business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support the development and evolution of Bright Local’s APIs, improving usability, documentation, and adoption
  • Partner with Engineering to define API requirements, standards, and best practices
  • Help scale and implement Bright Local’s AI capabilities, ensuring consistency, quality, and clarity for users
  • Translate AI and platform capabilities into clear product requirements
  • Embed monitoring, testing, and metrics to support reliability, cost management, and validation
  • Act as Product Manager within a squad, balancing delivery with broader platform enablement
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support reuse of API and AI capabilities and feed learnings back into product improvements
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • Up to 20% bonus
  • Growth units (Global long‑term incentive plan)*
  • Hybrid working (2 days/week in Brighton office)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Vitality Healthcare
  • £1,000 annual personal learning budget
  • A friendly, supportive team with a strong, people‑first culture

* Participation is subject to eligibility and plan rules, and any payout is not guaranteed.

Qualifications
  • Experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Exposure to APIs, platforms, or technical products
  • Experience working with or around AI‑enabled features
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and explaining complex concepts clearly
  • Curious, pragmatic, customer‑minded, and outcome‑focused
