Supply Chain & Demand Manager

Location: Manchester Airport

Salary: 55,000 - 60,000

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Demand Manager to lead demand planning, inventory optimisation, and end-to-end supply chain coordination within a growing FMCG business. This role is critical in ensuring product availability while balancing cost, service levels and operational efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with sales, operations and procurement teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities. Due to business growth, this role would suit someone who wants to make an impact and has experience leading change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts, whilst leading a team of 3 direct reports.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Monitor key KPIs and produce reports.
• Develop and shape the demand and supply chain strategy to align with ongoing business growth.
• Support the delivery of a WMS implementation.
• Manager supplier relationships and liaise with buying, operations and sales teams to ensure smooth operational delivery.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Strong expertise and proven track record in demand planning and supply chain management.
• Previous experience leading and driving change within a supply chain operation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with in pharmaceutical or healthcare operations is desirable, but not essential.
