An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing start-up freight forwarding business that is already exceeding expectations. Despite being newly established, the company has secured long-term clients and consistent business, and is now looking to hire its first operational team member. This is a pivotal role within the business, offering genuine long-term progression and the chance to help shape operations as the company continues to grow.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end air freight operations, with a strong focus on exports. This is a hands-on position where you will play a key role in day-to-day operations and support the wider commercial growth of the business.

• Managing full end-to-end air export operations
• Completing customs entries via CDS
• Handling documentation, bookings, and liaison with airlines, agents, and clients
• Supporting air imports where required
• Delivering a high level of customer service to established, long-term clients
• Getting involved in commercial and business development activities as the company grows

• Proven experience in air freight exports (essential)
• Import experience is desirable
• Confident completing customs entries via CDS
• An all-round freight professional who is adaptable and proactive
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment with responsibility and autonomy
• Ambitious, with a desire to grow alongside the business

• Salary up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
