Our client partner is a successful, long‑established family‑owned business entering an exciting growth phase. As part of a planned succession following the forthcoming retirement of a family member, we are seeking a commercially minded finance leader to help shape the next chapter of the business.

Working closely with the Directors, you will be a trusted partner with real influence – strengthening financial leadership, supporting strategic decisions, and helping ensure the business scales sustainably while retaining its values and culture.

This is a broad, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys seeing the whole picture. You will own the financial backbone of the business while providing strategic oversight across operations, systems, compliance, HR, and health & safety, supported by external specialists.

You will bring clarity to complexity, turn insight into action, and help build the structures needed for long‑term growth.

• Financial leadership, reporting, controls, and cashflow
• Budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insight
• ERP and systems development
• Supporting acquisitions and growth initiatives
• Oversight of compliance, HR, and Health & Safety
• Playing a central role in a planned leadership transition

You are a senior finance leader with strong commercial judgement and experience in growing or owner‑managed businesses. You are confident operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels and enjoy working closely with decision‑makers.

A professional finance qualification is advantageous, but mindset, credibility, and cultural fit matter most.
