Location: Cavendish Square
A well-respected multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence across the UK is looking to appoint a Project Manager with a background in Building Surveying or Project Management. Based in London, this role is ideal for a qualified Project Manager who can start within a month and bring proven experience delivering healthcare-related projects in a consultancy setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a progressive and collaborative team working on a range of public and private sector schemes. The successful Project Manager will be confident leading refurbishment and redevelopment projects, often in live environments, and must be comfortable managing client relationships, technical delivery and programme control from day one.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will be involved in delivering complex schemes in the healthcare, public and commercial sectors, typically valued between £2m and £20m. The role requires experience of working in occupied buildings and with clinical or operational stakeholders, with an emphasis on managing disruption, compliance and clear communication.
You'll be responsible for project planning, procurement, contract administration (JCT and NEC), and stakeholder engagement. The team is particularly interested in candidates with the ability to work independently and who can hit the ground running on live projects, including supporting junior staff and representing the consultancy in client meetings.
The Project Manager
Degree qualified in Building Surveying, Project Management or a construction-related field
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or working towards chartership
Experience delivering healthcare or clinical environment projects essential
Able to start within 4 weeks (maximum notice period of 1 month)
Strong contract administration and procurement knowledge
Confident working independently and leading client meetings
Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and ISO standards
In Return?
£40,000 - £55,000 per annum
Private healthcare and enhanced pension
Hybrid working after probation
Full support with chartership (if not yet achieved)
Annual bonus scheme
Friendly, professional team culture with clear progression
