About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke stainless-steel fabrications, serving a wide range of industries from their modern facility in Tyseley, Birmingham.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator to join the fabrication team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, one-off stainless steel components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture components from stainless steel sheets (typically 1mm 3mm, occasionally up to 5mm).

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Set and operate Amada CNC brake press machines.

• Carry out tool changes and adjust machine settings as required.

• Ensure precision, accuracy, and quality standards are maintained throughout production.

What You ll Need

• Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator, ideally on Amada machines.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

• Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude.
