Maintenance engineer £60-£65K Per Annum Full Time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team during a period of internal transition. Acting as a central liaison between our organisation and the client, you ll play a critical role in delivering corrective maintenance and ensuring fleet optimisation. This position requires a proactive, autonomous professional who can engage confidently at senior levels while providing technical support and end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a physical and virtual presence for the customer.
• Provide detailed reporting and adhere to internal processes and procedures.
• Optimise passenger fleets and perform corrective maintenance.
• Manage documentation processes.
• Liaise with overseas teams and understand internal processes.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in rail, aviation, or heavy engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical or diesel multiple units.
• HNC qualification or proven extensive maintenance engineering background.
