Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are comprehensive Mechanical Contractor working on-site at a Food Manufacturing facility in Bury St Edmunds.

They are looking for local Mechanical Fitters on Stainless steel (experienced in CHP gas Turbine systems, gearboxes, drives, conveyors, pumps, mechanical removal, disassembly, rebuild and general maintenance) within Manufacturing settings.

Please note - You must have all your own tools and PPE.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

* 2-3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter (within Food & Bev/Manufacturing settings).

* A Recognised qualification or Apprenticeship within Mechanical Engineering.

* Proven knowledge in Stainless Steel.

* A Valid IPAF or PASMA (desirable).
