Pay Rate: 18.00 - 20.00 per hour
Contract Length: 3+ months
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30
Friday 07:30 - 12:30
About the Company
A well-established manufacturing business specialising in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Due to increased workloads, they are seeking skilled Composite Fitter Contractors to support ongoing projects on a contract basis.
The Role
As a Composite Fitter Contractor, you will be responsible for fitting, bonding, and finishing composite components in line with technical drawings and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fitting, bonding, and assembling composite components according to technical drawings
- Inspecting parts to ensure accuracy before progression to the next stage
- Precision trimming of composite parts using hand, power, or automated tools
- Preparing moulds, sanding, polishing, and finishing composite components
About You
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with pre-preg carbon fibre, fibreglass, or Kevlar
- Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, and other bonding agents
- Ability to interpret and work from technical, engineering, and schematic drawings
