As a Cosmetic Production Specialist, you’ll transform raw materials into high‑quality beauty products, working closely with lab and production teams to follow precise formulations. With a sharp eye for colour and consistency, you’ll ensure every batch meets strict standards while maintaining ISO accreditation through exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture cosmetic products with precision, ensuring colour, texture, and consistency meet brand standards.
- Work closely with the laboratory team through all stages of quality control, from sampling to final checks.
- Keep the production area clean, organised, and safe, maintaining equipment to ISO and company standards.
- Record and monitor production data to support traceability and continuous improvement.
- Flag any deviations, safety concerns, or process improvement opportunities to supervisors.
- Contribute to weekly production targets by working efficiently and flexibly within the team.
- Take part in ongoing training to stay up to date with best practices in cosmetic manufacturing and workplace safety.
You’re detail‑oriented and hands‑on, with a sharp eye for colour, texture, and consistency. Reliable and safety‑minded, you thrive in a structured production environment where precision and quality are paramount.
- Previous experience in a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG), cosmetics, or artisanal product manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish subtle differences in colour (score 2 or below in the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Colour Perception Test).
- Strong numerical and measurement skills, with attention to accuracy in weighing, mixing, and recording data.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and health & safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
