Opportunity to join a well‑established company in Brentwood CM13 as a full‑time, self‑employed Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker. Competitive pay starting from £22 per hour.

Job Type: Full‑time, self‑employed position
Salary: £22 per hour plus overtime
Location: Brentwood CM13
Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift with overtime available

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cabinets and furniture to design specifications and client requirements
• Assemble components with appropriate joinery techniques for durability and aesthetics
• Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as needed during fabrication and installation
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, shaping, finishing wood
• Ensure all pieces are plumb, level, and aligned during assembly
• Conduct painting or finishing work to enhance appearance (optional)
• Provide on‑site installations around London
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role
• Knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
• Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to cabinet making
• Ability to lift up to 50 kg as required by the job
• Desirable familiarity with painting techniques for finishing wood surfaces
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Right to work in the UK
