Production Operative

Machine / Production operators required to start ASAP in Barnsley S75!

Day shift-

Pay : £12.93 per hour

Shifts :
Rotating – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm

Night shift-

Pay : £14.94 per hour

Shifts :
Fixed 10pm till 6am

You’ll operate a range of woodworking machinery to support the production of timber products. This includes setting up and running machines, loading raw materials, monitoring performance, and carrying out basic adjustments. You’ll complete regular quality checks on finished pieces, ensure measurements and cuts are accurate, and report any defects or issues. Keeping your work area tidy, safe, and machine-ready is a key part of the role.

• Machine operating experience ideal (woodworking or manufacturing) but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy with measurements
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely around machinery
• Team player with a reliable work ethic
