Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager for a well respected food manufacturer to oversee and optimise the organisation's technical operations.
Overview- To lead the technical compliance function of the site ensuring legislative requirements for food safety within the production environment.
- To interface directly with the customer regarding compliance to food safety and quality issues.
- To ensure that procedures are in place to manage food safety and quality systems e.g. GMP, HACCP.
- To interface with external bodies with regards to customer and 3rd party audits and follow up any non conformance in a timely manner.
- To ensure all preparations are in place for annual BRCGS audit.
- Audit non-conformance - 3rd party, customer
- Complaints and customer rejections
- Staff development
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Experience in product development and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
