Position: Production Operative with FLT licence (Temporary)
Location: Moss-side

Production operative with FLT licence

Manpower are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work on a temporary long term basis on behalf of a local manufacturing client based in Runcorn.

Main responsibilities:

To follow all shop order instructions and print/label drums as per instructions.
To follow all shop order instructions and filter/weigh materials as per instruction.
To advise ASAP on any of the quality issues/shortages of finished goods, consumables and packaging to the Production Manager/Shift Managers.
To clean vessels in readiness for the next manufactured product.
To load pallets in a safe manner and put away in the correct location(s) as per the instructions.
To assist to continually improve/advise on all procedures in the Work areas.
To ensure responsibility for your FLT/Reach trucks safety and the daily checks.
Clean and maintain all equipment in the line with 5s requirement as part of the working day.
To help maintain daily audit data
Adhere to and manage the health and safety guidelines as determined by the Health and Safety Policy and the finding of any subsequent risk assessments
Promote best health and safety within the team.
Carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required by Production Manager/ Shift managers.

Requirements:
Essential

Counterbalance FLT Licence.
Ability to process/manage Lean principles.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a fast paced, high achieving team.
Good organisational skills.
Previous production experience required

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday  ( in the future this may change to rotating shifts of 6.00
-14.00 and  with an additional shift payment)
