Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site position for a Cabinet Maker at P.D. Morgan Limited, based in Ogmore Vale. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for crafting high‑quality bespoke joinery, including cabinets, furniture, and fittings. Day‑to‑day tasks involve reading blueprints and designs, selecting materials, measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing wood products. The role also includes working closely with the design team to ensure client specifications are met and assisting with installations when required.

Attention to precision and an ability to work with various woodworking tools and machinery is critical to this role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Millwork, Carpentry, and Cabinetry, showcasing craftsmanship and quality in all tasks
  • Proficiency in Woodworking and handling tools and materials with precision and care
  • Knowledge of Spatial Design principles to interpret technical drawings and create custom solutions
  • Experience in operating machinery and equipment used in woodworking and joinery
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in bespoke joinery or furniture making is an advantage
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workshop environment
