As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be supporting advanced aircraft engineering and maintenance operations, from scheduled servicing to Check A inspections, ensuring excellence across all technical services and exceeding both customer and contractual expectations.

• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on the LAFT aircraft fleet, including aircraft handling
• Conduct pre‑use checks and scheduled maintenance on ground support equipment, ensuring full documentation compliance
• Carry out general duties as assigned, such as driving, stores support, and housekeeping
• Complete all maintenance records in line with current legislation and company procedures
• Provide technical support to other LAFT sites and participate in extended detachments during Easter and Summer camps

• Prepare aircraft for daily operations, including "see‑in", "see‑off", and fuel/oil replenishment
• Experienced in military or civilian Part 145 maintenance environments
• Skilled in aircraft handling within regulated aviation settings
• Proficient IT skills desirable
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer‑facing capabilities

• Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Proven practical and theoretical engineering competence
• Valid UK driving licence
• Experience in military or civilian aircraft engineering environments

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
