Production Manager

Location: Hellesdon

We are supporting a successful, specialist manufacturer in their search for a Production Manager to oversee a team of 40 skilled operators. This is a newly created role that oversees a skilled team delivering high-quality, bespoke products to stringent regulatory standards. It is essential that the Production Manager has worked in a similar engineering environment and has a strong technical background.

Core duties include, but are not limited to:

• Planning effective use of labour to meet production targets
• Chair/attend production meetings
• Manage all manufacturing queries in an effective and efficient manner
• Ensure all products manufactured are in line with customer specifications and produced to the quality standards required by relevant codes
• To be quality and cost conscious, and by adopting the right first-time methodology
• Ensure labour and materials are booked correctly on the ERP system
• Monitoring of weekly efficiency, monthly output and value added to the business, ensuring business budget requirements are achieved

This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The Production Manager reports directly to the Operations Director and is a key member of the management team.
