PRODUCTION OPERATIVE NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

We are seeking a Production Operative for a well established manufacturing business based in Telford, Shropshire, the working hours for this job is day shifts (7.45am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday , 8.00am – 1.00pm Friday hours per week.

The starting rate of pay is £12.80 per hour, which will initially rise to £13.10 per hour (once you've completed a 3 month probation), with the top end rate of pay for this job being £13.26 per hour.

This role would suit someone who has previously worked in a fast paced manufacturing environment, has good attention to detail and can meet daily production targets.

Previous experience from within the aerospace, automotive or electronics industry would be well received.

What You Will Do:

Loading components onto a development machine
Verify components against technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
Monitor machine performance and address any operational concerns.
Collaborate with the manufacturing department to resolve quality issues.
Ensure all components meet customer standards before progressing to the next production phase.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company procedures.
What You Will Bring:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with sheet metal, stainless steel, or aluminium is desirable.
Awareness of COSHH standards or experience working within COSHH guidelines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
