Year-Round Volunteer – Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce

The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable volunteer to support Chamber activities throughout the year. Volunteers are a vital part of the Chamber’s mission, assisting with events, member outreach, and day-to-day operations that support the Island’s economy and community. This individual will play a critical role in managing information requests, assisting with communications, and supporting the overall administration of the Chamber.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for promoting the vibrant local economy and tourism of Martha’s Vineyard. Must have in depth knowledge of the island and reside on Martha’s Vineyard.

• Support small projects at the Chamber office
• Greet and assist visitors
• Help with setup and logistics at events (mixers, ribbon cuttings, festivals, etc.)
• Deliver flyers, posters, or welcome bags to members
• Be a friendly and welcoming representative of the Chamber at public events

• Interest in the Martha’s Vineyard business and nonprofit community
• Availability for occasional weekday, evening, or weekend hours
• Must reside on Martha’s Vineyard

• Meet local business and community leaders
• Support the Island's year-round and seasonal economy
• Get insider access to Chamber happenings
• Build relationships and give back to your community
