Reality Adventure Works is a Christian charity supporting children and young people with social communication difficulties. The organisation is seeking to recruit an additional team member on a short-term, part-time basis.

Short-term, part-time post with Reality Adventure Works in the Highlands, North Kessock.

Reality Adventure Works in Scotland Ltd., a small Christian charity, has been developing its work of providing weekend and week-long residential learning experiences for children and young people aged 9-18 in the Highlands with social communication difficulties.

The Highlands Assistant Young People's Worker is a 25-hour-a-week position involving direct contact with up to 20 young people and their families or carers, including attendance at weekends or week-long holiday breaks and related activities.

This role is part of a small, dedicated team with significant development opportunities. It involves some anti-social hours, including weekends away. PVG membership is required.

This is an initial 4-month contract, with the possibility of extending for a further 9 months. A comprehensive induction, training, and line management support are provided. The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 21st February. Interviews will be held in North Kessock on Wednesday, 29th February, with the position starting on Monday, 26th March 2012.
