Deputy Manager

Position: Deputy Manager (Permanent)
Location: Isle of Arran

Bright Selection is currently recruiting a Deputy Home Manager for a well-established nursing home located in the Beith area. This home provides nursing, residential and dementia care for approximately 45 residents, who benefit from a choice of welcoming lounge areas alongside beautifully landscaped gardens, patios and courtyard spaces. Purpose-built around the needs of its residents, the home is rated Good by the Care Inspectorate and enjoys an excellent reputation locally.

The successful candidate will be joining a growing, forward-thinking provider with an ambitious development plan and a portfolio of high-quality homes.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a leadership role within an elderly nursing home.
Registered Nurse with a valid and up-to-date NMC PIN.
A genuine interest in dementia care; additional dementia-specific qualifications or training would be highly advantageous.
Experience in leading, developing and motivating large care and nursing teams.

Responsibilities:

Deliver the highest standards of care, consistently exceeding residents' needs and expectations.
Provide staff with clear guidance, support, advice and training.
Carry out regular monitoring, audits and reviews to ensure exceptional quality of care and service.
Support, supervise and mentor the staff team to ensure positive outcomes for residents and the overall home.

Remuneration:

The role is paid at circa £47,000pa
40 hours per week
