PositionPermanent Staff Nurse based at Brooksby Day Hospital.
What You Will DoAs a Staff Nurse District Nursing you will be a qualified registered nurse responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups within the community. You will manage the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse, including the supervision and redeployment of staff.
Knowledge,Training and Experience
Professional qualification in nursing essential.
You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, and to work as a lone worker in various community settings.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
Hours and Shift Pattern37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment. Post is offered on a permanent basis.
UK Driving Licence / Car OwnershipA UK car driver/driving licence is essential.
