Bank Nurse

Are you a UK Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD) looking for control and flexibility? Join our nurse staff bank and, after a paid two‑week induction, access nursing shifts at Aberbeeg Hospital with the option to bank shifts regionally across Elysium services. There is no minimum number of hours – you can work as often as you’d like.

Your role will focus on providing high‑quality, evidence‑based care to men with mental health conditions in a modern, purpose‑built secure hospital. You will support your multidisciplinary team, promote good teamwork, and be a positive, caring presence in the ward. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5‑hour standard shifts, and through our app you can view and book available weekday, night and weekend shifts.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team at Aberbeeg Hospital, a 12‑bedded low secure service for men with a brand‑new modern medium secure ward opening in 2021. The service focuses on empowering recovery and independence through least restrictive practices and vocational activities.

• A relevant nursing qualification
• NMC registration
• Previous experience in a similar setting
• Strong team‑working skills
• A high level of self‑motivation and a flexible approach
• A positive attitude, caring and compassionate nature
• Good sense of humour
• DBS disclosure (required for all candidates)
