Activity Instructor – Renfrewshire Council

Full‑time, seasonal and sessional outdoor activity staff position at the Castle Semple Centre, Lochwinnoch, part of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. The role delivers outdoor activities courses and taster sessions nearly all year round.

• Plan, organise and lead a range of outdoor activity courses and taster sessions.
• Deliver high quality, safe and engaging activities for participants of all ages.
• Maintain accurate records, equipment and safety checks.
• Support colleagues in meeting learning outcomes and Service Standards.

• Two or more relevant instructor qualifications (e.g. dinghy instructor, paddle sports, trail cycling).
• Current first‑aid qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
