We are currently recruiting for full time QA Assistant to support the operational team in delivering compliance with all site policies, procedures, and protocols at Llanidloes site.
Factory based role ensuring factory is always audit ready. Driving best practice in the production environment with food safety, quality & legality. First point of contact for all production‑based issues. Verification of systems generating daily compliance KPIs. Key part of Technical functions including but not limited to internal auditing, micro sampling and daily calibration.
Responsibilities- When required and under the guidance of the QA Team Leader ensure that a range of routine tasks associated with the inspection of carcasses and monitoring activities e.g. product temperature/ dentition/label checks are performed at the defined frequency in accordance with the appropriate standard operating procedure.
- When required carry out visual inspection of lamb carcasses & where identified undertake the necessary trimming to ensure that all lamb carcasses meet the required specification.
- When required and under the guidance of the QA Team Leader ensure that a range of routine tasks associated with the inspection of carcasses and monitoring activities e.g. product temperature/ dentition/label checks are performed at the defined frequency in accordance with the appropriate standard operating procedure.
