Deli Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: COST CUTTER CASTLEDERG We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Deli Assistant to join our team. You’ll help prepare, package, and serve fresh deli products while delivering excellent customer service. This is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food retail environment.

• Prepare and serve deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, and hot food.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli area.
• Restock displays and ensure products are correctly labelled and priced.
• Follow food safety and health regulations, at all times.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks.
• Assist with general duties within the store.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practice.
• Previous experience in food service or retail.
