Role Overview

We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Dyffryn Gardens, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day. As a member of the retail team, you’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.

You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised. Duration:
Permanent.

Hours:

1092 hours a year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. 3 days a week, working 9:30am-4:30pm in winter and 9:30am-5:30pm in summer. Working days will vary each week. Regular weekend working required, working every other weekend with more at times to cover busy periods and staff leave.
