We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Fort William/An Gearasdan, Highland. This is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekends.

  12 hours across 2 days per week
• Pay: £10.10–£12.31 per hour (age 16–20 rates £10.10, age 21+ rates £12.31)

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, including packing assistance.
• Handle stock and deliveries, placing products into freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to jump between tasks (deliveries, till work, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation).
• Reliability – be an important part of a small team and deliver your best on each shift.
• Flexibility with shift times, including occasional adjustments to cover for colleagues.
