Security Officer

Overview

We have a great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat. G4S is recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Redruth for a huge food service business. The site is a pork brining and smoking factory, so you must be comfortable and happy to work in this environment.

As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

• Patrolling the site
• Gatehouse duties
• Access and Egress control
• Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the site
• Responding to security breaches and medical incidents
• Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site
• CCTV monitoring

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems. Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator, a team player, and driven to always provide a friendly and professional service.
