Security Administrator
Location: Unilever, Port Sunlight, Wirral, CH62 4ZD
Salary: £12.88 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours:
Preferred:
Part Time, 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, alternating between 7am–12pm and 12pm–5pm)
Alternatively:
Full Time, 50 hours (Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm) if a single full-time candidate is more suitable
Working with Sodexo at our Unilever site in Port Sunlight, you’ll be part of a professional and friendly team, helping to maintain a safe, secure environment for all colleagues, clients, and visitors. As Security Administrator
, you’ll support day‑to‑day security operations, ensuring all site access and clearance records are accurate and compliant.
- Manage access control documentation and process visitor/contractor passes in line with BS7858 standards
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including clearance status and licence checks
- Liaise with the security team, contractors, and site visitors to ensure smooth and secure site operations
- Conduct routine checks and audits of pass systems and logs
- Provide a helpful and professional point of contact at the security desk
- Ensure compliance with all site‑specific procedures and client requirements
- Adhere to all Sodexo and Unilever safety and security policies
- Experience in an administrative role within a security or facilities environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage sensitive information confidentially and accurately
- Familiarity with BS7858 screening procedures (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work alternating shift patterns
- Valid SIA Security Licence (If you do not currently hold an SIA Licence, Sodexo will fund the qualification for the successful applicant)
- First Aid at Work or equivalent qualification
