Job Description

Academic Appointments are currently recruiting Behaviour Support Workers to work Full Time Temp – Perm at a popular Special Needs School in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in behaviour support, youth work, SEN, or care who are looking to work in a rewarding education environment. This will be working with students ages 4 to post 16 with a wide range of mixed disabilities.

Requirements:

* Valid Team Teach training - Desirable (preferably within the last 2 years)

* SEMH experience

* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties

* A calm, patient, and resilient approach

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

* Availability for ad hoc, flexible working patterns

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
