Shipping Coordinator

Robert Kime Limited is looking to hire an enthusiastic and proactive individual to work as part of our warehouse team as a Shipping Coordinator, joining the company to continue to deliver excellent client service and help streamline client deliveries, courier collections and general stock movement. The successful candidate should have experience in shipping logistics, goods- in and goods-out.

We have a showroom in Ebury Street, London and our Head Office is in Marlborough, Wiltshire. We also work with a select group of showroom partners in the US.

The company was founded by the late Robert Kime whose enthusiasm for antique dealing and collecting blended with his deep interest in history and art. The heritage of our company is based in the juxtaposition of elements that, when blended make for original and interesting rooms. Robert added decoration and products based on document examples to his offering of antiques and today, the company continues to embody Robert’s vision, emphasising a deep exploration of craft and tradition in everything we sell, make and the services we provide too.

• General:
  Responsible for preparing all shipments & shipping documents for UK, EU, US and ROW shipments, which includes creating commercial invoices, client collections, packing lists and all other necessary paperwork.
• Managing supplier logistics: arranging the collection of client orders and components from suppliers.
• Managing warehouse and shipping inventory, which includes consumables, packing materials, and cost management.
• Ensuring compliance with regulation updates across all aspects of import and export procedures.
• Resolving issues during the shipping process, such as delays, damages, missed deliveries, and customs issues.
• Tracking shipments and updating the in-house teams.
• All of the above involves an element of heavy lifting.

• Working with our Fulfilment & logistics team to streamline warehouse storage, processes and logistics.
• Support with goods in & goods out, liaising with couriers and managing the logistics of the warehouse for clients’ orders and deliveries.
• Responsible for a clean and tidy working shipping warehouse.
• Unpacking and checking supplier deliveries.
• Supporting the rest of the warehouse team to ensure the movement of stock in/out of the business.
• Receiving deliveries into the warehouse and notifying the relevant team.

• Proficient in the use of Apple & Microsoft programmes, including Excel & Word.
• Adaptability towards new computer systems. In-house training will be provided.
• Good knowledge of stock control and experience with products and components.
• Good attention to detail when working with fragile stock.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to be flexible for varying tasks.
• Flexibility to occasionally work overtime, and/or shift working hours as required.

Hours: 9 - 5, Monday to Friday, based in our Marlborough Head Office.
