Warehouse Storeperson

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Warehouse Storeman to join our client's team in Irvine.

This permanent role promises stability and growth for the right candidate. If you have experience as a Warehouse Storeman in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

The weekly working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1.30pm.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Checking and accepting incoming goods at the warehouse, ensuring they align with purchase orders and are in proper condition, while addressing any delivery issues.
• Organising and safely storing goods.
• Issuing materials for production.
• Packing and preparing customer orders for shipment.
• Monitoring storage areas and reporting any problems to address safety concerns.
• Adhering to good manufacturing practices and necessary safety protocols.
• Keeping the workspace clean and safe.
• Requesting replenishment for certain stock items.
• Embracing a continuous improvement mindset and helping to identify opportunities to enhance processes.
• Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

Experience

• Good physical fitness.
• Ability to load goods safely.
• Good computer skills is essential.
• Import/Export Knowledge is helpful but not essential.
• Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic.
• Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems would be advantageous.
