Stock Controller

Location: Newhouse, Motherwell
Hours: Monday to Friday, Dayshift - 08:00 to 17:00

Apex Resources Limited are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our warehouse operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of warehousing and stock control procedures, who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock records.

Contract Pay: £12.95ph

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting and verifying daily stock checks

• Ensuring cycle counts are completed accurately and investigating any discrepancies

• Documenting, reporting, and investigating stock losses and gains

• Completing all stock-related documentation and records as required

• Liaising with warehouse personnel regarding stock movements and discrepancies

• Processing damages, disgorges, destructions, and maintaining stock cages

Skills and Experience

• Practical knowledge and appreciation of warehouse and stock control procedures

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, including Dispatcher, is advantageous

• A valid forklift truck licence is desirable

Working Hours

The role is based on a Monday to Friday dayshift. Due to the nature of our operations, a reasonable degree of flexibility with working hours is expected, particularly during peak operational periods.
