Asbestos Operative – Gasket Removal
Location:
Ulverston, Cumbria
Duration: 8 Weeks Minimum
Start Date:
ASAP
Role Overview
Our client requires an experienced Asbestos Operative to carry out the safe removal of asbestos-containing gaskets in line with regulations and site procedures. Candidates must hold the relevant asbestos training and medical certification.
Key Responsibilities
* Removal of asbestos gaskets in accordance with RAMS and site procedures
* Working safely within controlled environments
* Following all HSE guidance and asbestos regulations
* Working as part of an asbestos removal team under supervision as required
* Ensuring correct use of PPE/RPE and decontamination procedures
Training / Certification Requirements
Essential:
* NNLW trained or Licensed Asbestos Operative training
* Asbestos Medical
* Half-face fit certificate
Desirable:
* CCDO card
